Quality Assurance Officer

About the Role

Our client, a leader in specialized manufacturing, is seeking a diligent and experienced Quality Assurance Officer to join their team remotely, with a focus on their operations supporting the Cambridge area. This role is pivotal in upholding the company's commitment to excellence by ensuring all products and processes meet stringent quality standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring quality assurance procedures, conducting audits, and collaborating with various departments to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of quality management systems, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, contributing to a culture of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Conduct internal audits of processes and documentation to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and customer service teams to address quality issues.
• Prepare quality reports and presentations for management review.
• Stay updated on relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control role.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective remote collaboration.
