About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join their dedicated quality team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance within the pharmaceutical sector from your own location. You will be responsible for a range of QA activities, including document control, internal audits, deviation management, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and compliance of our client's pharmaceutical operations, supporting their mission to deliver safe and effective medicines. You will work collaboratively with various departments to foster a culture of quality across the organization, benefiting from the flexibility and autonomy of remote work in the Nottingham area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS), including document control and record-keeping.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits by regulatory agencies and customers.
- Oversee the investigation and resolution of deviations, non-conformances, and CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Review and approve batch records, change controls, and other quality-related documentation.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP, GDP, and other relevant regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of GMP, ISO, and other applicable quality system regulations.
- Experience with quality system tools (e.g., eQMS, deviation management software).
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
