Quality Control Analyst - Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Our client is seeking a diligent and analytical Quality Control Analyst to join their state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Sunderland . Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished pharmaceutical products using various analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV-Vis).
• Accurately record and report test results, ensuring compliance with GMP and internal quality procedures.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, performing routine performance checks.
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and assist in root cause analysis.
• Prepare and standardize reagents and solutions for laboratory use.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and ensure adherence to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• Hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated laboratory environment.
• Proficiency with common analytical instrumentation such as HPLC , GC, and spectrophotometers.
• Strong understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control principles.
• Excellent attention to detail, data integrity, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
