Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join their vital quality assurance department in Milton Keynes . This role is fundamental in ensuring that all pharmaceutical products manufactured meet stringent quality standards and regulatory specifications before they reach patients. You will perform a variety of analytical tests, document results, and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality control procedures. The ideal candidate is someone who possesses a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of analytical chemistry, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of product quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished pharmaceutical products using established methods.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometers, and dissolution testers.
• Accurately record and document all test results, deviations, and observations in accordance with cGMP requirements.
• Review and approve batch records and quality control documentation.
• Participate in method validation and verification activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency with various analytical techniques and laboratory instrumentation.
• Thorough understanding of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and quality systems.
• Strong data analysis skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a laboratory setting.
