Quality Control Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Analyst to join their pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Leeds . This role is essential for ensuring the consistent quality and safety of all manufactured drug products. You will perform a variety of analytical tests, interpret results, and contribute to maintaining rigorous quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and a commitment to upholding the highest levels of quality assurance in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various laboratory techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectroscopy).
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable test results.
• Document all testing activities, results, and deviations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results and support investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a Quality Control laboratory, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency with common analytical instruments and laboratory techniques.
• Familiarity with GMP principles and regulatory requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, good record-keeping skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
