Quality Control Inspector

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join their team in Bristol . This role is essential for ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards before they reach the customer. You will conduct detailed inspections, perform necessary tests, and document all findings accurately. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, a solid understanding of quality control procedures, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products against established specifications.
• Perform various quality tests and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Document inspection results, noting any non-conformities and reporting them to the Quality Manager.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all inspection activities and findings.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and relevant industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Familiarity with various inspection techniques and quality control tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 or other quality management standards is advantageous.
