About the Role
Our client requires a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Belfast . This essential role involves conducting thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, components, and finished products using appropriate measurement tools.
- Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed records of quality control activities.
- Identify non-conforming products and implement procedures for segregation and disposition.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in internal quality audits and contribute to the continuous improvement of quality management systems.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in using various measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
- Familiarity with quality management systems like ISO 9001 is advantageous.
