About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team based in Belfast . This role is essential for ensuring that all manufactured products meet stringent quality standards and specifications before they reach customers. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and working collaboratively with the production team to implement corrective actions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods according to established quality plans and standards.
- Utilize various measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Document inspection results accurately, identifying and reporting any non-conforming products or process deviations.
- Collaborate with production personnel to understand product specifications and identify potential quality issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis for quality defects and assist in the implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
- Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, including measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and documentation.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for record-keeping and reporting.
