Quality Control Inspector

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Leeds . This role is essential for ensuring that all products manufactured meet rigorous quality standards and customer expectations. You will conduct inspections and tests at various stages of the production process, identify defects, and work with the production team to implement corrective actions. This hybrid role offers a mix of on-site inspection and remote data analysis, providing a dynamic and impactful contribution to product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured goods against specifications and quality standards.
• Utilize various measurement tools and testing equipment to assess product quality.
• Document inspection results accurately, identifying and reporting any non-conforming products or processes.
• Collaborate with production staff to address quality issues and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).
• Maintain inspection records and assist in the preparation of quality reports.
• Stay updated on quality control methodologies and relevant industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality control tools, techniques, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) is a plus.
