About the Role

Our client, a prominent entity in the Manufacturing & Production industry, is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their team in Manchester . This role is essential for maintaining the superior quality of products by conducting rigorous inspections and tests throughout the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for identifying defects, ensuring compliance with specifications, and contributing to the overall quality assurance strategy. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive quality inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Utilize various measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and specifications.
• Identify, document, and report any non-conforming products or quality deviations.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of quality issues.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection and testing activities, including results and disposition of materials.
• Participate in internal audits and support external quality certifications as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
