Quality Control Inspector

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their thriving Manufacturing & Production team based in Manchester . In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products manufactured meet the company's exacting quality standards and specifications before they are dispatched to customers. You will conduct rigorous inspections, identify defects, and work closely with the production team to address any quality issues. This position is vital for maintaining our client's reputation for excellence and commitment to superior product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods against established quality standards.
• Utilize various measurement and testing tools to ensure product accuracy and conformity.
• Identify, document, and report any non-conforming products or quality deviations to the Quality Manager.
• Collaborate with production staff to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence of defects.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection results and quality data for traceability and analysis.
• Participate in internal audits and contribute to the development of quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role within manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and testing equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.
