Quality Control Inspector

About the Role

Our client is looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join their manufacturing team in Manchester . This role is essential for maintaining the high standards of our products. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure they meet all specified quality requirements and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will be proactive in identifying defects and contributing to the continuous improvement of quality processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products using various measurement tools and techniques.
• Identify and document non-conforming products and initiate corrective action procedures.
• Maintain accurate quality control records and reports.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement preventative measures.
• Ensure compliance with all company quality standards and relevant industry regulations.
• Participate in internal audits and assist with external quality assessments.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector or in a similar quality assurance role.
• Proficiency with measurement tools and testing equipment.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in our Manchester facility.
