About the Role
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their quality assurance team in Stoke-on-Trent . This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of product quality and safety that our client’s customers expect. You will be responsible for conducting various tests and inspections throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished goods. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality control tests and inspections on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Document test results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
- Identify and report any non-conforming products or processes to the Quality Manager.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment used for quality testing.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
- Experience in a quality control or laboratory role, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and measuring instruments.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data.
- Good understanding of health and safety protocols in a laboratory or production environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a quality assurance team.
