Quantity Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor.

Enabling works have already started on site, and the project is set to get fully underway this January. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile, secure-environment project, offering a flexible hybrid working model split between working from home or from the Bristol office 3 days a week, and 2 days a week on site in Exeter.

The Project & Scope of Works:

The project covers a diverse range of packages across the facility, giving you great exposure to varied technical works. Packages include (but are not limited to):

Full CCTV replacement Kitchen refit Gas works(Note: Candidates do not need prior experience across every single package listed above)

Key Responsibilities

Managing package procurement, subcontractor management, valuations, variations, and final accounts. Working closely with the project delivery team to ensure commercial control and financial reporting. Administering subcontract forms and managing cost-value reconciliations (CVR). Ensuring compliance with strict secure-site protocols and security clearance procedures.What We Are Looking For:

Proven commercial experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally coming from a Main Contractor background. Previous experience within the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) or secure/custodial environments would be an advantage, though not essential. Able to work autonomously and manage packages efficiently across hybrid settings.
