Job Description
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in railway signalling? Do you have experience working for a main contractor and delivering railway infrastructure projects? Job Title: Signalling Project Manager Location: Swindon - Hybrid, minimum 3 days in the office Rate: £500/day Inside IR35 via Umbrella Contract: Long-Term Contract Start Date: 12 October (flexible for longer notice periods). We're looking for a Signalling Project Manager to support a major contractor's Western portfolio, including level crossings, TDMs and potential OMSL projects. Where you will add value:
- Managing signalling projects from planning through to delivery.
- Coordinating project teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Monitoring programme, cost, quality and safety performance.
- Supporting project planning, reporting and risk management.
- Working closely with the client and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Attending site when required to support delivery and resolve project issues. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Manager.
- Strong experience working on railway projects.
- Signalling experience or a strong understanding of railway signalling systems.
- Previous experience working for a main contractor on the railway.
- The ability to work from the Swindon office at least 3 days per week.
- PTS, or a willingness to obtain it, is desirable.
- A proactive and hands-on approach to project delivery.
