Reach Truck Driver (PM Shift)

Senior Salmon is recruiting Reach Truck Drivers on behalf of our client in Chesterfield.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation. These are excellent opportunities for candidates holding a valid Reach Truck license.

The roles are primarily focused on afternoon and late shifts, making them ideal for candidates looking for consistent weekday working hours.

Working Hours

• 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Candidates must be flexible and able to commit to their agreed shift pattern.

Pay Rates

• Reach Truck Driver: £14.31 per hour
• Overtime paid at 1.25x the standard hourly rate.

FLT Licenses Accepted We are particularly interested in candidates holding a valid Reach Truck license, although the following licenses will also be considered:

• Reach Truck – essential for the main FLT requirements
• PPT (Powered Pallet Truck), beneficial.

Candidates with multiple licenses and recent warehouse experience will be particularly welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operating FLT equipment safely to move and replenish stock.
• Loading, unloading and moving goods around the warehouse.
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse systems to record stock movements.
• Preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring products are handled correctly.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous warehouse, order-picking or FLT experience.
• A valid FLT licence relevant to the position.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• A reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work afternoon or late shifts.
