Real Estate Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Real Estate Development Manager to lead and execute complex development projects in the Stoke-on-Trent area. This hands-on role involves managing projects from conception through to completion, including site acquisition, planning, design, financing, construction, and leasing/sales. You will work closely with architects, contractors, legal teams, and local authorities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the built environment and drive significant value through strategic development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of the real estate development lifecycle, from feasibility studies to project close-out.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure profitable outcomes.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to deliver high-quality developments.
• Secure necessary planning permissions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Lead negotiations with landowners, investors, and other stakeholders throughout the development process.

Requirements

• Significant experience in real estate development management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, planning regulations, and property law.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to identify and mitigate project risks effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field.
