Real Estate Development Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Real Estate Development Manager to lead exciting new projects in and around Glasgow . This hybrid role involves managing the entire development lifecycle, from initial site acquisition and feasibility studies through to planning, construction, and final disposal or asset management. You will be responsible for driving projects forward, managing budgets, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring successful project delivery. This is a high-impact position for a seasoned professional looking to make a significant contribution to the urban landscape of Scotland , working flexibly between office and site locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential real estate development sites and opportunities.
• Manage the planning application process and secure necessary consents and approvals.
• Oversee project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and securing funding.
• Appoint and manage consultants, contractors, and other project team members.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in real estate development project management, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• In-depth knowledge of the development process, planning regulations, and construction management.
• Excellent financial acumen, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a hybrid model, covering site visits and office-based strategy.
• Degree in a relevant field such as Real Estate, Construction Management, or Planning.
