About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Real Estate Development Manager to lead and execute diverse development projects within the Bristol region. This hybrid role requires a blend of strategic planning, site management, and stakeholder engagement, balancing on-site supervision with remote administrative and financial oversight. You will be responsible for the full development lifecycle, from feasibility studies and planning applications to construction management and project delivery. This is a key position for an experienced professional looking to shape the urban landscape and deliver high-quality developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the real estate development process, including site selection, feasibility analysis, and financial structuring.
- Manage project planning, securing necessary permits and approvals from local authorities.
- Coordinate and manage external consultants, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Supervise construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting.
- Cultivate strong relationships with landowners, investors, local communities, and regulatory bodies.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in real estate development project management, ideally within the UK.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex development projects from inception to completion.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, planning regulations, and development finance.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and financial analysis tools.
- Ability to effectively manage responsibilities across both on-site and remote work settings.
