About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their thriving team based in Plymouth . This role is critical in evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities, conducting in-depth market research, and developing financial models to support strategic decision-making. You will be instrumental in identifying lucrative ventures and assessing risks within the South West property market. Working from their central Devon office, you will collaborate closely with investment managers and deal teams to drive profitable outcomes and expand the company's portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market data, economic trends, and demographic information to identify investment opportunities.
• Develop complex financial models to forecast property performance, cash flows, and returns on investment.
• Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions, including physical property assessments and legal reviews.
• Prepare detailed investment reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management.
• Monitor the performance of existing investments and recommend strategies for optimization.
• Stay abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as an Investment Analyst , preferably within the real estate sector.
• Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in Excel and valuation techniques.
• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
