About the Role

Our client is looking for a sharp and analytical Real Estate Investment Analyst to join their growing team in Sunderland . In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating potential real estate investment opportunities, conducting market research, and developing financial models to support investment decisions. You will work closely with senior investment managers to identify strategic acquisitions and contribute to the overall investment strategy for the firm's portfolio in the North East of England. Key Responsibilities

• Conducting thorough due diligence on potential real estate acquisitions, including financial, market, and physical assessments.
• Developing detailed financial models, including discounted cash flow analysis, pro forma statements, and sensitivity analysis.
• Preparing investment committee presentations and reports, summarizing key findings and recommendations.
• Monitoring existing portfolio performance and identifying opportunities for value enhancement.
• Researching market trends, competitor activity, and economic factors impacting the real estate sector in Sunderland and surrounding areas.
• Collaborating with legal, finance, and operations teams to facilitate transaction closings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in real estate investment analysis, finance, or a related analytical role.
• Strong financial modeling skills using Excel, with the ability to build complex models from scratch.
• Excellent research, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.
• Strong understanding of real estate investment principles and market dynamics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
