Real Estate Investment Associate

About the Role

Our client is seeking a bright and ambitious Real Estate Investment Associate to join their growing investment team in Sheffield . You will play a key role in identifying, analyzing, and executing real estate investment opportunities across various asset classes. This position involves extensive financial modeling, market research, and due diligence, contributing directly to the strategic decisions of the investment fund. Working closely with senior investment professionals, you will gain invaluable experience in the full spectrum of real estate investment, based within their central Sheffield office.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modeling for potential real estate investments, including DCF, LTV, and IRR calculations.
• Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities in the Sheffield area and beyond.
• Assist in the due diligence process for acquisitions, reviewing property-level data, leases, and operating statements.
• Prepare investment committee memos, presentations, and reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio assets and assist in asset management strategies.
• Support senior team members in transaction execution, including legal documentation and deal structuring.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in real estate investment, finance, or a related analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and data analysis; knowledge of Argus is a plus.
• Excellent understanding of real estate valuation principles and investment metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
