About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and strategic Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee their diverse property holdings in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. This role requires a strong understanding of property management, financial oversight, and tenant relations, with a focus on maximizing the value and performance of the portfolio. You will be based in our central Edinburgh office, working closely with a dedicated team to ensure operational excellence and strategic growth. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee a portfolio of commercial and residential properties, ensuring optimal performance and tenant satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for property acquisition, disposal, and asset enhancement.
• Conduct regular property inspections, manage maintenance schedules, and oversee refurbishment projects.
• Handle lease negotiations, renewals, and rent reviews to maximize revenue.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, and performance analyses for the property portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with all landlord and tenant legislation, health and safety regulations, and company policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in property portfolio management or a similar real estate asset management role.
• Strong knowledge of the Scottish and particularly the Edinburgh property market .
• Excellent financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in property management software and standard office applications.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Relevant professional qualification (e.g., RICS, ARMA) is highly desirable.
