About the Role

Our client is looking for a talented Real Estate Solicitor to join their reputable firm in Southampton . This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of property transactions, including commercial leases, sales and purchases, and development work. You will advise a wide range of clients, from individual investors to corporate entities, on all aspects of property law. The position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team and contribute to significant property deals across the South Coast , with the flexibility of a remote working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and landlord and tenant matters.
• Draft and negotiate commercial leases, agreements for lease, and related documentation.
• Conduct detailed due diligence on property portfolios.
• Advise clients on property development, planning law considerations, and financing.
• Manage client relationships effectively, ensuring clear communication and providing proactive advice.
• Liaise with other professionals, such as surveyors, agents, and lenders, to facilitate transactions.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial property law .
• Proven experience in handling a caseload of property transactions independently.
• Strong understanding of Land Registry procedures, SDLT, and related property regulations.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote environment .
