About the Role

A leading law firm in Southampton has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Real Estate Solicitor to join their busy property department. This role involves managing a varied caseload of commercial and residential property transactions, providing expert advice to a wide range of clients. You will be responsible for handling all aspects of property law, from acquisitions and disposals to leases and development projects. We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded lawyer eager to contribute to the firm's excellent reputation in property law .

Key Responsibilities

• Handle commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and lease agreements.
• Advise clients on property development, planning law implications, and landlord and tenant matters.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on property portfolios and individual assets.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and timely updates throughout transactions.
• Work collaboratively with other departments on property-related aspects of corporate deals.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive in England and Wales.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercial real estate law.
• Proven experience in handling a diverse range of property transactions.
• Strong understanding of property development, planning, and landlord and tenant legislation.
• Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.
