About the Role

Our client seeks a skilled Real Estate Transaction Lawyer to join their thriving property law department in Leeds . This role involves managing all stages of commercial property transactions, providing expert advice on acquisitions, disposals, and landlord and tenant matters for a diverse clientele. You will be integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of property deals, contributing significantly to the team's success and client satisfaction in a hybrid working environment that balances office collaboration with personal flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute a variety of commercial property transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
• Conduct thorough due diligence on commercial property portfolios and individual assets.
• Draft, negotiate, and finalise all necessary legal documentation, such as contracts and leases.
• Advise clients on property development, financing, and planning aspects.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including surveyors, lenders, and opposing legal counsel.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant property law regulations and best practices.

Requirements

• A Solicitor or qualified Conveyancer with a minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial real estate law.
• Proven expertise in managing complex property transactions from initiation to completion.
• Strong understanding of property development, landlord and tenant law, and financing structures.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a demanding caseload efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
