About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Transaction Manager to join their team, based in or able to work hybridly from Bristol . This role is integral to managing the end-to-end process of buying, selling, and leasing commercial properties across the UK. You will coordinate with internal legal teams, external counsel, brokers, and various stakeholders to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant transactions. The hybrid nature of this role allows for effective remote management of documentation and communication, complemented by necessary on-site presence for key meetings and site visits in the South West region .
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all stages of real estate transactions, from initial negotiation and due diligence through to closing and post-completion activities.
- Coordinate with legal counsel to draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, and other property-related contracts.
- Liaise with brokers, surveyors, valuers, and other third-party advisors throughout the transaction process.
- Oversee the organization and management of transaction-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Track transaction progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
- Conduct site visits and attend crucial meetings as required, balancing these with remote responsibilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing complex real estate transactions , either in-house or within a law firm/consultancy.
- Strong understanding of real estate law, contract principles, and due diligence processes.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions.
- Proficiency in using transaction management software and standard office productivity tools.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Real Estate, or a related field; relevant professional qualifications are a plus.
