Temporary Recruitment Consultant – Commercial Desk

Egham, Surrey | £35,000–£40,000 Basic + Excellent Commission

4 days a week on-site | 1 day remote working

Love recruitment, but wish you could find an agency that genuinely values you as a person, not just the revenue you generate?

I am delighted to be working with a fantastic, well-established recruitment agency in Egham looking to welcome a Temporary Recruitment Consultant into its friendly and supportive team.

With ambitious growth plans over the next 2–3 years, this is a brilliant opportunity to develop your career, make a genuine impact and be part of something exciting.

What really stood out to me when speaking with the business owner was her approach to people. She genuinely cares about her team, understands that life exists outside work, offers flexibility and believes people perform at their best when they feel supported and valued. You're a person first and an employee second. And that really matters.

The Opportunity

This is a full 360 recruitment role, developing your own client relationships, generating new business and growing a temporary recruitment desk across Commercial and Business Support functions, including HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Procurement, Administration, Customer Service and Office Management.

But here's what makes this opportunity particularly exciting...

You're not starting from scratch!

The business already has an incredibly loyal and established client base, providing fantastic opportunities to introduce its Commercial recruitment offering.

You'll be building on these existing relationships while enjoying the challenge of winning your own clients and developing new business.

And because the business understands that building a successful temporary recruitment desk takes time, you'll receive guaranteed commission for your first three months, giving you financial reassurance while you establish your desk, develop relationships and build momentum.

It's the perfect combination of an established business with a strong reputation and the opportunity to make a desk your own.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing the full 360 recruitment process.

• Proactively identifying and winning new clients.

• Introducing Commercial recruitment services to existing clients.

• Building lasting client and candidate relationships.

• Sourcing, interviewing and representing talented candidates.

• Managing vacancies through to successful placement.

• Delivering an honest, consultative recruitment service.

Who Are We Looking For?

You don't need years of experience to be considered.

If you have 12–18 months' recruitment experience, a great attitude and a desire to develop your career, we'd love to hear from you.

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys business development and building relationships.

• Has a commercial mindset and wants to grow their desk.

• Is proactive, motivated and confident communicating.

• Takes pride in delivering excellent service.

• Is enthusiastic about learning and progressing.

What's On Offer?

• £35,000–£40,000 basic salary, depending on experience.

• Attractive commission structure.

• Guaranteed commission for your first three months.

• An established, loyal client base.

• Freedom to win and develop your own clients.

• A kind, approachable and supportive manager.

• Ongoing training and career development.

• A friendly team where your contribution is valued.
