About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy, is seeking an enthusiastic Recruitment Consultant to focus on the Education sector, based in Derby . You will be responsible for recruiting teachers, teaching assistants, and other educational staff for schools and institutions throughout Derbyshire. This role requires building strong relationships with both educational establishments and candidates, ensuring efficient and high-quality placements. The hybrid working model offers flexibility, allowing you to balance office-based collaboration with remote work, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for teaching and support roles within the education sector.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, and other educational clients.
• Understand client requirements and match suitable candidates to vacancies effectively.
• Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to placement and aftercare.
• Promote the company's services to new and existing clients within the Derbyshire region.
• Ensure all candidates and placements meet safeguarding and compliance standards for the education sector.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment , ideally with a focus on the Education sector.
• Knowledge of the education system and its staffing needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
• A proactive approach and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Derby .
