About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Recruitment Consultant to join their thriving Healthcare team in Plymouth . This role is critical in connecting healthcare providers with talented professionals across nursing, allied health, and support services. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding client needs to sourcing, vetting, and placing candidates. Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of healthcare roles, including nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, and care homes in the Plymouth region.
• Utilize diverse recruitment channels, including healthcare-specific job boards, professional networks, and social media.
• Manage candidate expectations and provide timely feedback throughout the hiring process.
• Negotiate offers and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for placed healthcare professionals.
• Achieve individual and team targets for placements and revenue generation in the healthcare sector.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment, ideally within the Healthcare sector.
• Excellent understanding of the healthcare job market and required qualifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management.
• Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
