About the Role

Our client, a reputable recruitment consultancy situated in Sunderland , is actively seeking a dedicated and energetic Recruitment Consultant with a focus on the industrial sector. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from understanding client needs and sourcing candidates to negotiating offers and building lasting relationships. This role is pivotal in supporting the growth of our industrial division and ensuring we deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates in the Tyne and Wear region. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and attract suitable candidates for industrial roles using a variety of sourcing methods.
• Conduct thorough candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate skills and experience.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.
• Manage candidate databases and ensure accurate record-keeping of all interactions.
• Negotiate job offers and facilitate the onboarding process for successful candidates.
• Achieve agreed-upon KPIs and revenue targets for the industrial division.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recruitment, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional phone manner.
• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with recruitment software and candidate management systems.
