Recruitment Consultant (seeking a career change?)

Enjoy recruitment but looking for a career with more purpose?

What if you could use your recruitment skills to genuinely change people's lives?

We're recruiting for a major national charity supporting people with mental health challenges into meaningful employment.

You'll still be building employer relationships, generating vacancies, matching people to opportunities and hitting targets. But instead of generating recruitment fees, you'll be helping people transform their lives.

As an Employment Consultant based in Brent, you'll work in the community alongside NHS mental health teams. You'll:

Proactively speak to 5–6 employers each week to develop job opportunities. Support people with applications, interviews and securing employment. Build relationships with employers and NHS professionals. Manage your own caseload, diary and employment targets. Work across Brent, meeting clients in community locations such as cafés and libraries.Who We're Looking For

We're specifically seeking recruitment consultants who have:

At least 12 months' continuous employment with the same recruitment company. Experience working towards recruitment targets. Strong communication, relationship-building and organisational skills. A genuine desire to make a difference.Permanent or temporary recruitment backgrounds are welcome. No previous charity or mental health experience is required.

Why Make the Move?

You'll join a large national charity with excellent career development opportunities, using the skills you've already built in recruitment. This is still a busy, target-driven role. But instead of chasing fees, you'll be helping people rebuild their confidence, find work and change their futures.
