Regional Fundraising Coordinator

About the Role

Our client is looking for a motivated Regional Fundraising Coordinator to drive support and generate income across the Sunderland area. This role is pivotal in engaging local communities, businesses, and individuals to support our charitable initiatives. You will be responsible for planning and executing various fundraising activities, including events, challenges, and donor appeals, while building and nurturing relationships within the local community. The successful candidate will be a proactive communicator, adept at inspiring others to give and passionate about making a difference in the North East.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute local fundraising events and activities to achieve income targets.
• Engage with local businesses, community groups, and schools to develop fundraising opportunities.
• Recruit, support, and motivate individual fundraisers and teams participating in events.
• Develop engaging communication materials to promote fundraising activities and share impact stories.
• Maintain accurate records of donors, donations, and fundraising progress for the Sunderland region.

Requirements

• Experience in fundraising, event coordination, or sales/customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
