About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a strategic Regional Operations Director to lead and optimize operations across multiple sites in the North East, with a primary focus on Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategic plan for regional operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
• Oversee all operational activities within the assigned region, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.
• Manage and mentor a team of site managers and operational leads, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Implement best practices in operational management, supply chain, and logistics across all facilities.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards across the region.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in senior-level operational management, preferably with multi-site responsibility.
• Proven track record of successfully driving operational improvements and achieving business targets.
• Strong strategic planning and execution capabilities.
• Exceptional leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and P&L responsibility.
• Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field is highly desirable.
