Salary: £28,000-£30,000 per annum
The Role
We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to oversee a small adult care service supporting approximately 30 clients within the local community.
This is a hands-on management position, ideal for someone who enjoys combining strong operational leadership with direct involvement in the lives of the people they support.
The role will involve a balance of office-based management and visiting clients in the community. You must therefore be confident working independently across both environments.

Manage the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring safe, effective and person-centred care.
Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, company policies and relevant care legislation.
Lead, support and motivate the care team to maintain consistently high standards.
Complete and review client assessments, care plans and risk assessments.
Conduct community visits and build positive relationships with clients and their families.
Manage staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, supervision, appraisals and ongoing development.
Monitor staff performance and address any concerns appropriately.
Promote a strong safeguarding culture and respond promptly to concerns or incidents.
Maintain accurate records and ensure the service is fully prepared for CQC inspections.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, local authorities and other external agencies.
Support the continued development and sustainable growth of the service. Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
A minimum Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or an equivalent recognised qualification.
At least two to three years' experience in a management position within a similar adult care, domiciliary care or community-based setting.
Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding and person-centred care.
Experience managing, supporting and developing care staff.
Experience completing care plans, risk assessments, audits and compliance checks.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
The ability to manage competing priorities in a busy care environment.
A hands-on, compassionate and professional management style.
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
The ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check. What's on Offer
A permanent position with a salary of £28,000-£30,000 per annum.
The opportunity to lead a small, established community care service.
A varied role combining operational leadership with direct client involvement.
The opportunity to make a genuine difference to clients, their families and the wider care team. To apply, please submit your CV or contact MD2 Recruitment for a confidential discussion
