Rehoming & Welfare Coordinator (Dog Rehoming)

As a Rehoming & Welfare Coordinator (Dog Rehoming) at Battersea, you will champion exceptional customer service while ensuring the dogs in our care find the most suitable home. You will use your empathy, insight, and communication skills to guide our customers through the rehoming process, asking thoughtful questions to understand each their needs and lifestyle. Working closely with colleagues across our kennel teams, you will identify potentially matching dogs and support a positive, successful rehoming process.

You will act as a trusted and professional point of contact for all customer enquiries, confidently engaging with the public via phone, email, in person on site, representing Battersea with warmth, clarity, and a commitment to our values.

We have two opportunities available:

• Full Time, permanent contract: 40 hours per week (to include some weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis)
• Part Time, fixed term contract 12 months: 32 hours per week (4 days a week, including all weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis).

Working with our rescues is a very rewarding experience. Your work plays a vital role in giving our dogs and cats a chance at finding their forever home. Everyday will be different and will come with its own unique challenges. We are looking for people with the resilience and adaptability to handle all aspects of this role. It is important to note that the role does involve a lot of physical tasks which are required to provide the exceptional standards of care to our animals.
