Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and strategic Remote Agricultural Policy Advisor to join their advocacy and research team, supporting policy development and stakeholder engagement across the UK, with a geographical interest in the Norwich area. This fully remote role involves analyzing agricultural policies, researching best practices, and advising on legislative proposals to promote sustainable and economically viable farming. You will play a vital role in shaping the future of agriculture by contributing to informed policy decisions and fostering productive dialogue between industry stakeholders and governmental bodies. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of agricultural economics and policy frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, analyze, and interpret agricultural policies, regulations, and legislation at national and international levels.
- Develop policy recommendations and position papers on key agricultural issues, such as sustainability, trade, and rural development.
- Engage with policymakers, industry representatives, and stakeholders to advocate for evidence-based agricultural policies.

- Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations to communicate complex policy information effectively.
Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Agricultural Economics, Public Policy, Law, or a related field.
- Significant experience in agricultural policy analysis, research, or advocacy.
- Strong understanding of the UK and EU agricultural sectors and policy landscapes.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
