About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Agricultural Sustainability Specialist to guide the development and implementation of sustainable practices across their operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work from anywhere in the UK. You will be instrumental in advising on environmentally responsible farming methods, resource management, and ecological impact reduction. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and champion strategies for sustainable agriculture, including soil health improvement, water conservation, and biodiversity enhancement.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation.
• Research and advise on the adoption of eco-friendly technologies and practices.
• Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics and compliance with environmental regulations.
• Collaborate remotely with farm managers, researchers, and stakeholders to embed sustainability principles.

Requirements

• A degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in agricultural sustainability, environmental management, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of ecological principles and their application in agriculture.
• Excellent remote communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
• Ability to analyze complex environmental data and translate it into practical solutions.
• Familiarity with sustainability frameworks and reporting standards.
