About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and proficient Remote Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team, working entirely from a home-based office. This role is focused on the technical aspects of architectural design, translating creative concepts into practical, buildable solutions. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with building regulations. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with architects and project managers through digital platforms, contributing essential technical expertise to a variety of exciting projects. Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed architectural drawings, technical specifications , and schedules using CAD software.
- Ensure all technical documentation complies with current UK Building Regulations and relevant standards.
- Collaborate with architects to develop and refine design details and construction solutions.
- Prepare information for planning applications and building control submissions.
- Undertake site visits as necessary, maintaining accurate records of site conditions and progress.
- Liaise with contractors and consultants to resolve technical queries during the construction phase.
Requirements
- Relevant HND/HNC or degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist , with a strong technical portfolio.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential for this role.
- Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction techniques, and materials.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting .
