About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly proficient and self-motivated Remote Architectural Technologist to join their established team, offering the flexibility of working from home anywhere in the UK. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive technical design solutions for a variety of exciting projects. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings, specifications, and ensuring compliance with Building Regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a strong understanding of construction processes, and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting , contributing to high-quality project delivery from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, construction details, and specifications for architectural projects.
• Ensure all technical documentation is compliant with current Building Regulations and relevant standards.
• Coordinate technical information with external consultants and contractors remotely.
• Conduct remote site assessments and provide technical support during construction phases.
• Utilize CAD software effectively to produce accurate and efficient design information.
• Assist in the development of planning applications and Building Regulations submissions.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Technologist, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical detail.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and a good working knowledge of Revit.
• In-depth understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills for effective remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines independently.
