About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Architectural Technologist to join their expanding team, operating on a fully remote basis. This critical role involves the technical detailing and documentation of diverse architectural projects, ensuring precision, compliance, and constructability. You will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design concepts and practical realization, working closely with project managers and design teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. As a senior member, you will also contribute to mentoring junior staff and upholding the firm's reputation for technical excellence and innovative problem-solving across a national client base, all while benefiting from a fully remote working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce highly detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction information for a variety of building types.
- Oversee and manage the technical aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Liaise effectively with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of designs and construction documents, identifying potential issues and proposing solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architectural technologists and designers.
- Stay abreast of evolving building codes, technologies, and best practices in architectural technology and ensure their application.
Requirements
- Minimum of HND/HNC or degree in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience as an Architectural Technologist , with a proven track record on complex projects.
- Expert proficiency in Revit , AutoCAD, and other relevant 3D modeling and BIM software.
- In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning procedures, and construction best practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
