About the Role

Our client is searching for a skilled Remote Automotive Cybersecurity Analyst to join their innovative cybersecurity division. In this role, you will be responsible for safeguarding the digital security of connected vehicles and their associated systems from evolving threats. Working entirely remotely, you will analyze security vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and contribute to the overall security posture of our automotive products. This is a crucial position for an expert passionate about protecting the interconnected automotive ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cyber threats and vulnerabilities targeting automotive systems.
• Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on vehicle ECUs, networks, and cloud services.
• Develop and implement security controls and policies to protect against cyber-attacks.
• Respond to security incidents, investigate breaches, and recommend remediation actions.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security best practices into the vehicle development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, regulations, and technologies relevant to the automotive industry.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity analysis , preferably within the automotive or IoT sectors.
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and secure coding practices.
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434) is a significant advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote collaboration.
