About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Automotive Data Analyst to join their expanding analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing vast amounts of automotive data, including vehicle performance metrics, customer usage patterns, and market trends. You will generate insightful reports and dashboards that inform strategic decision-making across various departments, from product development to marketing and sales. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing critical insights to the future of automotive innovation .
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various automotive sources, including telematics, sensor data, and market research.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations related to vehicle performance, driver behavior, and market dynamics.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Interpret complex data findings and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders through clear presentations and written reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define data requirements and support the development of data-driven features.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all analytical processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the automotive industry or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
- Must be adept at working independently in a fully remote environment.
