About the Role
Our client is seeking an innovative and skilled Remote Automotive Electronics Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge electronic systems for future vehicles. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of electronic components, from concept and design to testing and production support. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic hardware circuits and systems for automotive applications, including sensors, ECUs, and power management systems.
- Create schematics, layouts, and perform simulations using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Specify components, manage Bill of Materials (BOM), and collaborate with PCB layout designers.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic designs to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide technical support during the integration and production phases.
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components in a remote team setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in automotive electronics design .
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
- Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) and testing standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote capacity.
