Remote Automotive Electronics Engineer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electronic hardware circuits and systems for automotive applications, including sensors, ECUs, and power management systems.
• Create schematics, layouts, and perform simulations using industry-standard EDA tools.
• Specify components, manage Bill of Materials (BOM), and collaborate with PCB layout designers.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of electronic designs to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with automotive standards.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and provide technical support during the integration and production phases.
• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components in a remote team setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in automotive electronics design .
• Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence).
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, microcontrollers, and embedded systems.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN) and testing standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote capacity.
