About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Remote Automotive Software Engineer to join their innovative product development team. This role is critical for the design, development, and implementation of embedded software solutions for next-generation automotive systems. Working entirely remotely, you will collaborate with a distributed team of engineers to push the boundaries of automotive technology, focusing on areas such as infotainment, driver assistance systems, and vehicle connectivity. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test embedded software for automotive ECUs and platforms, ensuring reliability and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C/C++ or other relevant languages.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and systems architects to define software requirements and interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of complex software issues.
• Develop and integrate software components for features such as advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), infotainment, and telematics.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies within a remote setting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in embedded software development, with a focus on the automotive industry.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet.
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fully remote , collaborative team environment.
