About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and skilled Aviation Cybersecurity Analyst to join their remote-first security operations team. You will monitor networks, analyze security events, investigate potential breaches, and implement robust security measures to protect critical aviation systems. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor aviation networks and systems for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities using advanced security tools.
• Analyze security alerts and incidents, conduct forensic investigations, and develop incident response plans.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on aviation-specific systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation relevant to the aviation industry.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies affecting the aviation sector.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis, incident response, or network security.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and best practices relevant to critical infrastructure.
• Proficiency with security information and event management (SIEM) tools, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, and vulnerability scanners.
• Experience with network security, cryptography, and cloud security concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, enabling effective remote collaboration from Nottinghamshire or other remote locations .
