About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Aviation Cybersecurity Analyst to join their team on a fully remote basis. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for safeguarding our client's digital assets and operational technology systems within the aviation sector against cyber threats. You will play a key part in developing and implementing robust security strategies, monitoring networks for suspicious activity, and responding to security incidents. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while contributing to the security and resilience of critical aviation infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts from various systems to detect and respond to cyber threats.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices for aviation systems.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses.
- Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement remediation measures.
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams to ensure the security of all digital assets.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies relevant to the aviation industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, preferably with exposure to OT/ICS environments.
- Strong understanding of network security principles, threat intelligence, and incident response.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
- Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, adept at working independently in a remote capacity.
