About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and meticulous Remote Aviation Data Analyst to join their expanding operations team. This position is entirely remote, offering significant flexibility for individuals based anywhere in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing vast amounts of aviation-related data to identify trends, improve operational efficiency, and support strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets related to flight operations, maintenance, safety, and commercial performance.
- Develop and implement data analysis models and methodologies to identify patterns, trends, and correlations.
- Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings based on data analysis.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout the analysis process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst , preferably within the aviation or transportation sector.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote working environment, contributing from anywhere in the UK, including support for operations around Norwich .
