Remote Aviation Safety Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Remote Aviation Safety Analyst to join their globally distributed team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for analyzing safety data, identifying potential hazards, and contributing to the development of proactive safety initiatives that enhance the overall safety performance of our operations. You will work independently from your home office, collaborating with international teams through digital channels, and play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of safety across our diverse aviation network, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret aviation safety data from various sources, including incident reports, flight data, and audit findings.
• Identify trends, systemic issues, and potential hazards within aviation operations and develop recommendations for mitigation.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of safety management systems (SMS) and safety assurance processes.
• Prepare detailed safety reports, presentations, and briefings for management and operational teams.
• Facilitate safety promotion activities and training modules to raise safety awareness across the organization.
• Stay current with aviation safety regulations, best practices, and emerging safety technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in aviation safety analysis or a similar role within the aviation industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to process and understand complex datasets.
• Proficiency with safety data analysis software and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.
• Familiarity with ICAO Annex 19 and other relevant international safety standards.
