Remote Aviation Safety Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and analytical Remote Aviation Safety Analyst to join their global safety management team. This position will focus on the proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of safety risks within aviation operations, working entirely from a remote location. You will play a crucial role in enhancing safety performance by analyzing incident data, developing safety recommendations, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze safety data from various sources, including incident reports, audit findings, and operational metrics, to identify trends and potential hazards.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified safety concerns.
• Investigate safety occurrences, contributing to root cause analysis and the development of corrective actions.
• Develop and update safety management system (SMS) documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Facilitate and participate in safety review meetings and working groups remotely.
• Promote safety awareness and best practices across the organization through communication and training materials.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implemented safety actions and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Safety Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in aviation safety management, risk analysis, and incident investigation.
• Strong understanding of aviation regulations and safety management systems (e.g., ICAO Annex 19, EASA/FAA SMS requirements).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Proficiency in using safety management software and standard office applications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate safety issues clearly and concisely in a remote setting.
